Bobi Céspedes
Rezos

Ms. Céspedes´ voice is supreme: powerful, full of strength even when she whispers. These arrangments, some involving Santeria orishas, are deeply rooted in both Afro Cuban and R&B traditions, what producer Greg Landau calls the "funkloric" approach. Ms. Céspedes, with her rich bottom range, and the band, featuring seasoned pianist/flautist Oriente Lopez, make it work.
